• People of any age with certain chronic medical conditions

The New "Diabetes Club"

Waldbaum’s Pharmacy, in Melville, hosts a Diabetes Club once a month at the pharmacy. This is a free club to join. Benefits include: free club meetings by a clinical pharmacist or diabetes educator, monitoring sheets to bring to your doctor, healthy refreshments and free giveaways.

Protect yourself from getting Shingles

Shingles is an illness caused by varicella-zoster virus, the same virus that causes chickenpox. Shingles can appear as a rash with blisters and may lead to intense pain.

Fortunately, there is a Shingles vaccine, Zostavax^®, approved to prevent Shingles in patients 60 years and older.

Upcoming Shingles Vaccine Clinics held at Waldbaum's beginning at 10AM and ending at 12PM:

Cost of the vaccine varies with insurance plans. We will make sure to inform you of what your cost or copay will be before you get your vaccine.
